Airaid Cold Air Intake

A Bit about Airaid

This is for those of you who may have not heard of Airaid.  I like to give you a little bit of background on the company simply because if I am reading about something I am unfamiliar with, I like to know more of the story than what is usually told.

Airaid has been around since 1997.  The Airaid Cold Air Intake systems were originally created for only light trucks and sport utility vehicles.  Now, they are manufactured for both gas and diesel engines.

If you like to buy parts, products and accessories that were made in the U. S. A. then do not hesitate to buy Airaid cold air intake products as they are all made right here.

Intake Systems

Some of you might be reading this and are novices when it comes to vehicles.  This part is for you.  Basically, what an air intake system does is to get cool air to your internal combustion engine.  Not only do they get the air to the parts of the engine that need it, they also filter the air before it gets there.  An intake system is called a system for a reason.  It is more than just one part and if any of the parts involved decide to take a vacation, then the quality of your ride not to mention the life of your engine may be greatly affected.

When you replace your stock air intake system with an Airaid Cold Air Intake system, you not only improve the life of your engine and your ride quality, you can also actually increase your horsepower.  This is accomplished with physics basically.  See, when air is taken into your engine it is generally warmer air.  The oxygen molecules are less dense than in cold air.  When you allow the cold air in, the oxygen molecules are tighter packed offering your engine the ability for more power which gives you the end result of added horsepower!  See?  Science is cooler than you thought it was isn’t it?

Anyway, not only does the Airaid Cold Air Intake system offer you all of what we just discussed, you can also get these installed with the least amount of trouble.  They are easy to purchase and not only that, but they also come with a lifetime “No Hassle” warranty!  Honestly, have you ever spent better money to protect the investment that is your vehicle?
