Jeep Maintenance 101

It doesn’t matter if you are just thinking about buying a cold air intake or if you already have one, it is always a good thing to know how to maintain one.  Air intakes can maximize the power of your rig but if you always want to have the best possible results, there are some tips regarding the air intake system that you might want to know.  Lucky you though, intake systems are not things that require too much money, time or work in order to make sure that they stay performing at their best.

An important thing to remember when getting a cold air intake system is that you want to get one that is low maintenance.  You will want one that carries a name that is well – known and trusted in the industry.  Something like the MXP system that is made by Airaid.  This is a system that has been designed to give you the best results while not requiring you to put in a lot of work.  When it comes to the intake system in your rig, the old adage – You get what you pay for – seriously comes into play.  If you happen to get one that is an off brand then the results that you get from it will not be what you could expect from a boss system like the MXP.  You will also probably be looking at maintenance that is more frequent as well as spending more money to keep it in working order.
