Airaid Cool Air Dam Intake System


The cool air dam intake system that is made by Airaid features a 360º large air filter – also made by Airaid – along with a massive air inlet that goes right in the OE location.  It is enclosed in a housing which works to seal it against the hood of your rig thereby shielding the filter from the heat coming off of the engine while also allowing for it to take in massive amounts of cooler air that has a higher density.  This cooler air contains more of the oxygen that is necessary for a combustion that is complete which then leads to you getting gains in things such as torque and horsepower as well as an overall improvement in the performance of the engine.
