Airaid MXP Series SynthaMax Cold Air Intake

This MXP Series intake system made by Airaid puts a massive 360º air filter – also made by Airaid – that has a fittingly massive inlet in your stock location.  However, it houses it in an air box that is made from polyethylene that has been roto-molded and seals right up against your hood – effectively creating an enclosed space.  This air box has air inlets that are simply monstrous and these have been positioned in such a way that they only allow the coolest air from outside into the box.  By doing this, the air filter is then able to force massive amounts of cooler – and therefore denser air – to your engine which then results in you getting more torque and horsepower as well as an overall improved performance.

SynthaMax Filter vs. SynthaFlow Filter

The SynthaMax filter made by Airaid is an air filter that is not oiled.  This is the more traditional type of filter.  The SynthaFlow filters made by Airaid are actually oiled filters that you can wash, re-oil and then reuse.
